About The Presenter - Dr. Wanda L. Snead holds a Bachelor’s of Science in Biology, a Master’s in Immunology, and a Doctorate in Health Science. Her career has afforded opportunities in laboratory management, clinical research in diabetes, endocrinology, and oncology. She served as manager of a Hormone Assay Core, Research Instructor, Clinical Trial Associate, and Associate Director for a Summer Research Program for Medical Students in Diabetes. Additionally, Dr. Snead has served as a faculty member at Vanderbilt and the University of Phoenix. Dr. Snead currently serves as Research Educator in the Global Quality and Education Department of the Sarah Cannon Research Institute, an HCA affiliated clinical research center in oncology. With over 28 years of research experience, she brings a diverse treasure of knowledge to her course curriculum. She holds memberships in SOCRA, ACRP, MAGI, TN Public Health Association and the Society for Public Health.
